अरमान बड़ा या पैसा...???
जब भी कोई लड़की अपने ससुराल जाती है
जाने कितने अरमान अपने साथ ले जाती है।
बिना भूल किए सारे आंसू पी जाती है
और फिर एक दिन अग्नि को सौंप दी जाती है।।
क्या यही था उसका अरमान,
पत्थर दिल है क्यों इंसान।
क्यों लोग उन्हें समझ नहीं पाते,
भूल जाते हैं सारे रिश्ते नाते।।
कहते हैं कन्यादान से बड़ा कोई दान नहीं होता,
फिर क्यों कन्या का सम्मान नहीं होता।
काश वे लोग ले ये जान,
कन्यादान से मिला उन्हें सम्मान।।
जिसने समझा बहू को बिटिया,
उसने पाई खुशियां ही खुशियां।
बहू को बेटी मानकर देखो,
खुशियों का अर्थ जानकर देखो।।
लोग समझ नहीं पाते हैं क्यों मेरे जज्बातों को।
क्या इतना आसान है भुलाना रिश्ते नाते को।।
कोई तो बताए मेरे जीवन का अभिप्राय,
कोई मेरे साथ मेरे सपनों को अपनाए।
डर है दुनिया की इस भीड़ में मैं खो ना जाउं,
सपनों की खातिर अपनों से दूर हो ना जाउं।।
दुनिया की इस भीड़ में मैं भी अपनी पहचान बनाना चाहती हूं,
मरकर भी अमर रहने के स्वप्न को हकीकत बनाना चाहती हूं।
लोग मिसाल दे मेरे हौसले की... मेरे आदर्शों की...
ऐसी कभी ना बुझने वाली मशाल जलाना चाहती हूं।।

कबीर हरी सब को भजे , हरी को भजै न कोई |
जब लग आस सरीर की , तब लग दास न होई ||
God remembers everyone. None remembers God. Those who are concerned about sensual pleasures can’t be devotees of God.
क्या मुख ली बिनती करो , लाज आवत है मोहि |
तुम देखत ओगुन करो , कैसे भावो तोही ||
How should I make God any request? He knows all, he knows my shortcomings. How should he like me with these shortcomings?
सब काहू का लीजिये , साचा असद निहार |
पछ्पात ना कीजिये कहै कबीर विचार ||
You should listen the truth from everyone. There is no need to show any partiality.
कुमति कीच चेला भरा , गुरु ज्ञान जल होय |
जनम जनम का मोर्चा , पल में दारे धोय ||
A disciple is full of mud of ignorance. A preceptor is water of knowledge. Whatever impurities are accumulated in many births, he cleans in one moment.
गुरु सामान दाता नहीं , याचक सीश सामान |
तीन लोक की सम्पदा , सो गुरु दीन्ही दान ||
There is no donor like a preceptor and no seeker like a disciple. Preceptor grants all three worlds to disciple.
गुरु को सर रखिये , चलिए आज्ञा माहि |
कहै कबीर ता दास को , तीन लोक भय नाही ||
He who keeps his preceptor on his head and abides by his directions doesn’t have any fear in three worlds.
मेरे संगी दोई जरग , एक वैष्णो एक राम |
वो है दाता मुक्ति का , वो सुमिरावै नाम ||
I have only two companions, devotees and Ram. They make me remember God and grant salvation.
संत न बंधे गाठ्दी , पेट समाता तेई |
साईं सू सन्मुख रही , जहा मांगे तह देई ||
There is no need to hoard much. One needs to be upright in one’s behavior always.
जिस मरने यह जग डरे , सो मेरे आनंद |
कब महिहू कब देखिहू , पूरण परमानन्द ||
The whole world fears death. I am glad to see death. When shall I die and realize the complete bliss. कबीर घोडा प्रेम का , चेतनी चढ़ी अवसार |
ज्ञान खडग गहि काल सीरी , भली मचाई मार ||
The consciousness should ride horse of love. The sword of knowledge should cause death of death.

पतिबरता मैली भली ,गले कांच को पोत |
सब सखियाँ में यो दिपै ,ज्यो रवि ससी को ज्योत ||
A woman committed to her family is looks better in her old robes and lace of glass beads round her neck. She shines amidst her friends as the moon shines amidst stars.
भगती बिगाड़ी कामिया , इन्द्री करे सवादी |
हीरा खोया हाथ थाई , जनम गवाया बाड़ी ||
A lustful person has damaged his devotion and his sense organs are enjoying the flavor. He has lost a diamond and missed essence of life.
परनारी रता फिरे , चोरी बिधिता खाही |
दिवस चारी सरसा रही , अति समूला जाहि ||
A man who takes delight in a woman belonging to others runs as a thief in nights. He derives mean pleasure for few days and then perishes with all his roots.
कबीर कलि खोटी भाई , मुनियर मिली न कोय |
लालच लोभी मस्कारा , टिंकू आदर होई ||
This is the age of Kaliyug. Here a man who practices sense restraint is rare. People abound with greed, covetousness and trifles.
कबीर माया मोहिनी , जैसी मीठी खांड |
सतगुरु की कृपा भई , नहीं तोउ करती भांड ||
The delusion is very sweet in its action over mind. Thanks God that I got blessings of my preceptor otherwise I would have been blank.
राम पियारा छड़ी करी , करे आन का जाप |
बेस्या कर पूत ज्यू , कहै कौन सू बाप ||
If one forgets God and remembers something else, he is like a son of a prostitute who doesn’t know who his father is.
जो रोऊ तो बल घटी , हंसो तो राम रिसाई |
मनही माहि बिसूरना , ज्यूँ घुन काठी खाई ||
Now what should I do. If I weep my energy level goes down. If I laugh Ram doesn’t like that. This dilemma eats my heart like a wood-eater ant.
सुखिया सब संसार है , खावै और सोवे |
दुखिया दास कबीर है , जागे अरु रावे ||
The world is so happy, they eat and sleep. Kabir is so sad he keeps awake and weeps.
परबत परबत मै फिरया , नैन गवाए रोई |
सो बूटी पौ नहीं , जताई जीवनी होई ||
Kabir searched from one mount to another mount but he couldn’t get the herb that creates life.
कबीर एक न जन्या , तो बहु जनया क्या होई |
एक तै सब होत है , सब तै एक न होई ||
Kabir says that you don’t know the one thing and you know many other things. That one thing can accomplish all, these many things are useless.
